When Linux is kept in close proximity to Windows, occasional "zoonotic" infections with Windows viruses may occur, and give them a possibility to evolve into capable Linux viruses. Hence, also Linux should receive regular booster vacciniations against Windows viruses, and those vaccinations preferably be sterilizing vaccinations.
