Is using an image without due reference plagiarism?

Particularly if the original is from a bigger, better article on the same subject? When must you use the feature flag to do a progressive release? Scene - advanced rollout [^] From comiscience (https://www.codeproject.com/script/Membership/View.aspx?mid=7750139 - no link because I'm not sure what to go for here) Uses the image from here: How to Implement Feature Flags Using LaunchDarkly[^] without any credit given - and it looks like a complex image to create. Is this enough for a "thief" kicking? My instinct is "yes", but I dunno, so I haven't voted. I'd appreciate your thoughts, people (and @Sean-Ewington as well)

In general I consider using an image without crediting an act of plagiarism. However in this particular case I'm not sure if the image is taken at least from that article since the picture in CP moderation is taller containing more elements both top and bottom. On the other hand the image appears far too similar just to be coincidence. Why not a polite message?

In this case I would just remove the image and email the author. But I went a different route in this case. I removed the whole Tip, which is primarily a vehicle to share what FeatBit can do, rather than showing how FeatBit's code was built / works.
Thanks, Sean Ewington CodeProject
