I'm fine - I tested negative at 04:30 today. Herself is not so good though - the emphysema doesn't help with that and Covid makes it worse. Still, she's fully jabbed so it should be a much milder case than last time.

Yep. And she gave it me - I passed a test on Saturday morning, and failed one this arvo. :sigh: I feel rough, but we'll just have to see how it goes, I guess. They are talking about putting Herself on antivirals because of her medical history, but I'll just have to work through it. Ho hum. :-D

When I had it last month, my husband passed his tests 5 days running. He checked the morning he was supposed to go back to work and had finally succumbed.

Guess who else is doing their 5 days penance? I've been doing a traceback and given I've been overly cautious for 3 years, and continue to do so, I've come to the conclusion that the only known positive case I've been in contact with is...you! You owe me a beer for this. And don't try the 'but that's impossible, I'm 3,387 miles away' excuse.

Not too bad - I had my first -ve test this morning, and I'm nowhere near as bad as I was after the first bout. Dunno if that's the vaccines, or if the virus changed - but I'll take it! How about you?

Day 5 and feel human again. I was taken out back and given an absolute shellacking. I do not understand why it's been so popular.
