Yep, long standing bug. Many members on this site have reported this bug type before.
delete all child records and parent record where parent record ID == some id.It must be more complicated than that; I just don't see why this can't be fixed in a relative short amount of time. -

This just occurred in the Lounge. Someone deleted the parent OP thread and now all it's child records are now part of Mike Hankey's "Free Shipping" thread. This kind of bug and how long it has been active in Productions, blows my mind into a million pieces.

Those two parent messages were trolling; they contained nothing more than "trrryyyy?????" and "!!!!!!".

Of course they were trolling. The point still stands that the child records should have been removed as well, and they weren't so now they belong to another thread altogether.
