    IT Pro Today[^]:

Microsoft is making a high-stakes bet on AI. But will it tarnish its reputation that it has worked long and hard to rebuild, bringing a return to the "Microshaft" days?

    Its reputation?! *Its reputation?!*

I mean, love 'em to death, but that is a company with a generally not positive reputation if there ever was one. OK, not counting Oracle. Or Google. Or IBM. Or... well, how about this - they're in the bottom half of the rankings for reputation?

Is there a company on that size (or similar or even a bunch less size) that gets into the upper half?

M.D.V. ;) If something has a solution... Why do we have to worry about?. If it has no solution... For what reason do we have to worry about? Help me to understand what I'm saying, and I'll explain it better to you Rating helpful answers is nice, but saying thanks can be even nicer.

Good point. Apple, maybe. Certainly it has a better reputation for most observers. And if we invoke VAX, I’m sure we can get a few Digital fans out of the woodwork. But of course they are no more. But, yeah. Big companies aren’t conducive to having a good reputation.
