Why such articles still stay in moderation? What is the idea behind that?

the only votes that "remove" from moderation are the upper ones, the lower ones in the "needs help" section, bring only a flag to the editors to check them up. They sometimes delete it, they sometimes repair and drive them to publication. "Wrong type" is in the "needs help" cathegory. that means, either the author realizes about the votes and change it. Or CP Staff does it for him/her.

the author cannot see the votes for his own article !!! the author sees it only if someone writes a comment to inform the author about wrong type !!!

                    Now that seems odd!

"the debugger doesn't tell me anything because this code compiles just fine" - random QA comment "Facebook is where you tell lies to your friends. Twitter is where you tell the truth to strangers." - chriselst "I don't drink any more... then again, I don't drink any less." - Mike Mullikins uncle
