AI is truly advancing by leaps and bounds. I can now use thousands of dollars of hardware to duplicate what people have been able to do for thousands of years with a sheet of bark/paper/papyrus/vellum/ and a bit of ink. /s

I would say that is quite an advance, to be able to do anything that people can do.

The difficult we do right away... ...the impossible takes slightly longer.

FTFY Ok, granted... depending on which people that's not really difficult

M.D.V. ;) If something has a solution... Why do we have to worry about?. If it has no solution... For what reason do we have to worry about? Help me to understand what I'm saying, and I'll explain it better to you Rating helpful answers is nice, but saying thanks can be even nicer.

While I share the same outlook on 'AI' (it's LLM for :elephant:'s sake) I would urge you to consider what thousands of dollars of hardware could do in 1996 versus what a $300 smartphone can do now.
