I've been shot onto bare flesh at close range before now and it really hurts. I certainly wouldn't do it - unless maybe I got a close in shot at the guy's bare nuts first... An interview of "Bambi" on FoxNews has her expressing sheer joy at the prospect of the hunt. She didn't look nervous or drugged up either, so my impression was she was a 100% willing participant. It's not enough money for her to be getting rich off of, so it has to be mainly the thrill of it. Of course, I haven't actually talked to her so it's just an opinion. I don't know if you play war games, but when your life doesn't depend on it (i.e. real conflict) being the hunted is one hell of an adrenaline rush, especially if the hunter is heavily above you.

There are some suggestions that the whole thing is a hoax but, assuming it isn't, why would the organisers pay the women $1,000 to participate in the game ($2,500 if they avoid getting hit) if the women were mainly doing it for the thrill of it? Altruism on the part of the organisers? John Carson
