      You can simply use fopen and check the return type:

      BOOL ExistFile(char* FileName)
      {
      FILE* hFile;
      hFile = fopen(FileName,"r");
      if (hFile)
      {
      fclose(hFile);
      return TRUE;
      }

      return FALSE;
      }
