Hello all, I have been reading Beej's guide for network programming and working with the TCP server tutorial on this page to get a understnadning of the basics.I can connect to the server with my computer and any computer in my home network. now what i cant do is have some friend access it via telnet. Iam using a MSN DSL modem and have Belkin wireless home networking setup. Could anyone help mewith some work arounds to get through to my computer from outside my network(as i have searched for last 3 hours and cant find jack). thx in advance. The NAT firewall may be blocking it. But be warned - if you disable the firewall, you'll be vulnerable to outside attacks, which can get nasty.
