Backcolor on Tab Control

Hi I am pretty new to this, so I hope the question is not too dumb. I am trying to get a tab control to look halfway decent on a form with a color background. It seems I can set the backcolor on individual tabs, but I always end up with a grey border and tabs. Is there any way around this? Thanks Trevor Doble
