I can imagine your students now, when you walk in and say. " I'm sorry, but my printer ate my lecture". ;P

How does putting transparencies in destroy the printer itself? I am just curious. regards, Paul Watson Bluegrass South Africa Brian Welsch wrote: "blah blah blah, maybe a potato?" while translating my Afrikaans. Crikey! ain't life grand?

Rutger Ellen wrote: I guess they melted Right. A laser printer uses a heater (called a fuser) to fix the toner particles to the paper. This fuser gets really hot, and if you get the wrong type of plastic into the printer it will melt the plastic and, well, it gets really messy. Hard to clean too. Clearly should have printed from linux, being a cooler OS, the problem would not have arisen!
