      The best ATL book so far I've read is ATL Internals[^], by Brent Rector and Chris Sells. That book together with Essential COM[^] by Don Box is a perfect combo for learning COM. If you're new to COM, I'd suggest you start with Essential COM. -- You're entertaining at least.
