I just do not understand anymore

Missing Girl[^] Being the Father of a little girl myself, this type of thing hits too close to home and heart. This was the first story I read this morning, and having read about it since the beginning, I can't begin to explain the grief I feel for the parents and family of this little girl. She was only 11 years old ... I just do not understand why anyone would do something so terrible and vile to a child. For a person like this, death is too good, IMHO. I'd much rather see the likes of Pinhead come up from the very ground on which he stands and pull the bastard straight to hell. D.

It's a shame people like that are allowed to breathe. :( Jeremy Falcon

If I were to find myself in a different society, though, with different laws, I'd have no qualms about taking the law into my own hands, at least in my own case. I'd have the heads of the two people responsible for abusing me as a child on spikes, flanking the entrance to my driveway.

That saddens me immensely. I've been following the case in the news but hadn't got as far as the news sites yet. Rob Manderson **Paul Watson wrote:**What sense would you most dislike loosing? It is a very disturbing story. I have an 11 year old son and I can't imagine the wrath I would visit upon anyone who harmed him.

A young boy was abducted and killed. His killer was caught out of state. While the police were extraditing him through the airport there were cameras and news crews everywhere. The father of the dead boy slipped in unseen, pulled a gun and shot/killed the SOB. The whole thing captured on videotape. Naturally the father was charged. However, in an act of civil defiance and human compassion, the jury refused to convict him. Basically they said, "Man? What man? Gun? What gun?" Does anybody else (Roger Wright?) remember this or am I hallucinating again?? Please allow me to introduce myself - I’m a man of wealth and taste. Yup. And I applaud the jury wholeheartedly. Heard in Bullhead City - "You haven't lost your girl -
you've just lost your turn..." [sigh] So true... -
