Two datagrid questions: 1) Anyone who have advice on how I could make my datagrid look more excel like? 2) Is it possible to set more then one row in "edit" mode at one time? (I would like to have my whole datagrid in editmode when "edit" is pressed. Rickard

Do you have any other suggestion? I don't need the calculation ability in the application, at least not yet. I just want it to look more like excel (I.e. it should be better looking). Rickard

          1. You can make the DataGrid look more "Excel-like" by playing with the styles -- item style, header style, etc. until you achieve something you like. Also, you can use CSS to do even more, since you can control the style behavior of mouse hover events, etc. 2) I believe it is possible, but I don't have a specific example. Perhaps Datagrid Girl's website? What a piece of work is man, how noble in reason, how infinite in faculties, in form and moving how express and admirable . . . and yet to me, what is this quintessence of dust? -- Hamlet, Act II, Scene ii.

Hi Rickard, The simplest way is to use TemplateColumns, and place TextBoxes in the of each column, that way they will always be in Edit Mode. Datagrid Girl http://www.datagridgirl.com http://www.codeproject.com
