I just read 2 pages of the Suggestions forum before I realized I had missed my click in the dropdown. I thought no one had anything to rant about. Jeff Martin Triple20 Software

Disclaimer: I'm not really a fan of country music. Jennifer does sound good. Matt is too gimicky for me. I have to root for Lance because he is a personal friend and he paid me :) He is very talented, I don't think he's really shown his talent yet. This week, when he gets to do an original song, I think he'll show his real talent. [Edit]I voted you a 5 because you looked at my site. You're one of the few :-D. It's a work in progress[/Edit] Jeff Martin Triple20 Software

I met Jamey Garner[^] this weekend. He finished 6th in the inaugural season and plays harmonica on Buddy Jewell's album. Quite a talent. How did we meet you ask? My daughter performs in her HS show choir. The HS was hosting a show choir competition[^]. The HS chorus director attended college with Jamey Garner where they became good friends. Mr. Garner judged and performed at the competition. Where do I fit in you ask? As a helpful parent that knows how to use a spreadsheet, I was the "tabulation guy" at the competition. I spent all day Saturday sitting five feet away from the judges interpreting their score cards and chatting between performances. "Looking at cleavage is like looking at the sun. I guess they already had their pretty boy with Brent Keith. I met Lance through a mutual friend. He's a genuinely nice guy. I live in Nashville, so you can't swing a cat without hitting a country musician (especially the unsigned species). Jeff Martin Triple20 Software

I stumbled into Nashville Star while on vacation in Vegas last year, had to hide from blackjack for an evening. Vegas hotels only provide the minimum in room TV fare so I did some surfing and found the show and was blown away by the talent, far superior to that of American Idol. When I listen to C&W I listen for the story in the lyrics, same as I do with Blues, which is my favorite. All these guys/gals are good, I'll root for Lance from here on out. I had to hide from blackjack while in Vegas also. I found that the Keno lounge was a great place to hide. All you have to do is plunk down a dollar to get one of the cards. Play that game and get the waitress to bring you a drink. Just sit there and keep drinking, playing a real game about once an hour. It's the cheapest game in Vegas and you can drink for free. Just tip your waitress and she won't care if you're gambling or not. I went out there with a group and we all congregated in the Keno lounge our last night cause we were all running out of money. We stayed pleasantly hammered all night. And one guy even won $90 :-D Jeff Martin Triple20 Software
