Hi, I was wondering if it's possible to deny users access to a specific folder, but grant them permissions to read, write and modify files within that same folder? Thanks in advance. Er zit een korstje op mijn aars.

Off the top of my head, not. Later versions of WinNT will sort the ACL so deny entries are at the top. When processing, your user will hit a 'deny' then not be able to proceed. Steve S

Try Folderguard... maybe it can help you a little "Courage choose who will follow, Fate choose who will lead" - Lord Gunner, Septerra Core "Press any key to continue, where's the ANY key ?" - Homer Simpsons Drinking gives me amazing powers of insight. I can solve all the worlds problems when drunk, but can never remember the solutions in the morning. - Michael P Butler to Paul Watson on 12/08/03
