What the hell is up with Customer Service now days?

I called the store to see about returning my big screen tv. The phone said for english press one para la prensa 2 del español so I press 1 for english. The lady answers the phone and doesn't understand english so I end up having to talk to her in spanish. Maybe next time ill hit number 2 and get someone that speaks english. Geeze! I'm all for giving everyone a job but hell why the options on the phone if neither applies. My perfect phone message: Hello and thank you for calling dial an asshole. I wonder if spanish-speaking people get upset when I say 'Discupla, yo no hablo espanol'. And I so badly want to rant here...
