      Trasability means it the ability to co-ordinate or connect different phases of your entire Software development Life Cycle. This will help you to go back to any process stage from anywhere. But actaull the rule won't allow you to do that. Suppose if you want to do this , then you need to write separate diocumentation for this. I mean the reason why you came back. Trasability matrics means we will track individual process of our SDLC model and will getinto microlevel where you can find the shortage or overshooting effort status. Trasability matrics is not only applicable for one stage. You can appy this in Design,Development,Testing etc. Here what you wil get is, you will have a clear picture always that where u are lagging or where you are achiving.
