A more hormonally mature person than me can look at a barely clad woman and admire her for her beauty. That's fine. But showing your underwear in droopy pants? I challenge anybody to show me the beauty in that. Marc MyXaml Advanced Unit Testing YAPO

I don't think it's that easy. Were the people who voted for Clinton responsible for EVERY crackpot law proposed by a Democrat during his terms? Yeh they look like twats but it's their choice - a fine for looking like a wanker is a little too far don't you think? (and if ladies want to show off their backsides then I'm not going to complain. Slurp!).

On the one hand this seems dangerously silly, but on the other... people who dress like that look bloody stupid anyway so I have mixed feelings about the bill. I've seen people with their trousers so low that they have trouble walking because their leg movements are so restricted - what the fuck do they think they look like?

I heard it was because in prison they don;t have very many sizes of uniforms and they don't give inmates belts. The entire thing is crap if you ask me. I think it is a dumb fad, but then again I have shoulder length hair and am starting to feel that I am one of th eonly men that still has long hair so a fad is a fad is a fad...

I don't like it either, but this is the 'land of the free', at least it is suposed to be. Making a law against this is just pure opression by 'the man' if you ask me... here is another example... My last trip out west I visited Alcatraz and bought my son one of those 'out patient' tee shirts. He got a big kick out of it and wore it to school one day. He wa sthere all of 45 minutes when I get a call on my cell phone telling me to come and get him or bring him a new shirt because this one was offensive. The principal did not like it when I told him to bugger off, that I paid good money for the shirt, it was brand new and in good repair, and there was no way I was going to opress my son by making him change it. I got an earful about how he felt that it was offensive and then he got an earful about how I felt his ideals were Draconian and he had to get a life and there was no amount of wards that would make me make him change that shirt. Somehow people in power always find a way to put the screws to some group of poeple...

It's a stupid bill introduced for stupid reasons. I won't publicly make any allegations regarding the intelligence of those proposing and supporting it, but you can trace the pattern... In the end though, there is worse legislation out there, no sense losing sleep on this. If it gets passed, we'll have one more reason to make fun of Virginia...

We wear them because they help us to feel good about ourselves (it's no different from wearing makeup or having a new hairstyle, as far as I'm concerned). Besides, thongs are extremely comfortable when you get used to them. ;) Anna :rose: Riverblade Ltd - Software Consultancy Services Anna's Place | Tears and Laughter "Be yourself - not what others think you should be" - Marcia Graesch "Anna's just a sexy-looking lesbian tart" - A friend, trying to wind me up.
