For .Net-Assemblies there is the .Net Reflector, available e.g. at http://www.aisto.com/roeder/dotnet/ If you're lucky, this tool may show you the complete source code. For unmanaged dlls you can use the old dependency walker, probably available somewhere at microsoft. This tool can only tell you about exported functions and types. tell me if this helped.
