    hey guys, i get this error when trying to create an asp web application project. " http 1.1 403 Access forbidden error". I tried changing the default website property "execution permisions" to "scripts only" but that didnt solve the problem. Any ideas? huda

      Uninstall the IIS ,and then reinstall it.

        you should keep the un-install and re-install the last option. try the following: in IIS manager right-click on your virtual directory -> All Tasks -> Permissions wizard. just follow the wizard choosing default values for everything. Last click finish. Try your page now. If that doesn't work, try to shutdown and restart the IIS. type "iisreset" from the command prompt. Hope this helps.
