I would have thought a famine would have the opposite effect. They would have been more likely to invade Pakistan and reclaim some resources. Michael CP Blog [^] Development Blog [^]

Either way, we were at war with Pakistan a few months later. Of course, that was due to the human rights situation in what was then East Pakistan and the huge influx of refugees that we could not absorb any more. [edit]I think this[^] paints a clearer picture.[/edit] Cheers, Vikram.
