Uhumm... I've never seen uglier hookers than in A'dam. Some say this doesn't matter, but I'm an aesthete.

I almost jumped in a canal when I was walking down the street and caught sight of one for the first time. My friends and I were just minding our own business and heard a tapping at a window. I was completely unprepared for something like that in the middle of the day. IMHO, the museums, bars and parks were much better then any of the adult entertainment or hash bars.

Nope, it's an interesting story, better than newspaper.

To be honest I'd rather not dig too deep right now, I've talked about it a bit here in the past but I tend to avoid forcing myself to think of it because it confuses me for the rest of the day. It is one of those, "you mean more to me and anybody else ever could, but..." things. The one sequence of words that never stops echoing. Whoever said time heals was lying, it's been years and it only gets harder... but I'm seeing them tonight so I want to keep in a positive mood. :rose:

dnh wrote: don't get my curiosity spoil your day... seriously. I/it won't. The problems all disapear when I see them anyway, which I feel is probably part of the problem. But, if I get to keep that then you won't have to ask me twice if I want to, which is likely the other part of the problem... Whoever made the rules was a sadist. I'm a programmer - I'm used to dealing with things that can be defined by logic. dnh wrote: CP archeology I've only posted thirteen thousand three hundred and eighty six messages on CodeProject since 1999, so it shouldn't be hard to find the three or four on this subject. ;P

Can I co-author it? :-D Honestly, though - I've seen you post about a girl and her not mailing you, but I don't have the full background. But from what I've seen, your experiences aren't far too different from mine, though I regard mine to be over. Maybe we should swap stories... :~ *smacks himself on the head and reminds self to get to work* Cheers, Vikram.
