convert multiple files into one zip file and download that zip file

how we zip the files (different format such as pdf,doc,txt,jpg..etc) and download within a single upload as that zip file.. after selecting all files from datagrid and these i have to converted into one zip file and i have to download that zip file. pls give me some sample code and links.. all type of suggestions are also welcome lal
