    hi it might be easy to connect your LED with parallel port output pins for turning on and off but how can i connect my turned on LED(with 3v cell) to my parallel port data input port to asceraint programmatically whether it is on or on please help me how can i do this if somebody have programmes related to this in vb 6 or C++ please provide me these

      hi, 1. connect a light cell to the input port and the ground 2. face it with the led powered from an output pin or you can connect the output pins to a relay "coil" and the relay "switch" back to the input ports but be carefull. or you can skip all the hardware parts and do it programatically
