http://www.theregister.co.uk/2005/09/26/baghdad_smut_and_pain/[^] The graphic details of sex, and of traumatic amputation, are not matters that healthy minds share with the wider world. Surely there is some pathology at work here. And surely, the website will confirm the worst fears of more conservative, religious Iraqis about just what the Americans are bringing to their country. Hey Stan, Gaskey, and the other arrogant assholes here is what your f*cked up clones are doing to speard freedom, liberty and such.

so you don't like western open style debate & free speech eh ? free speech is a double edged sword that USA has decided yields the best cuts and yes, sunlite is the best medicine for those close-minded totalitarian regimes that can't handle criticism

hey don't forget what else those friendly islamic terrorists are doing to their own country... ISLAMICKILLERS[^] Masked gunmen murder teachers From correspondents in Baghdad September 27, 2005 IRAQI gunmen last night murdered five teachers and a driver at a primary school as US forces released more than 500 prisoners from the notorious Abu Ghraib jail. In the school attack, 10 gunmen dressed as policemen dragged the teachers from their classrooms at the Al Jazeera primary school in Muwalha, south of the capital, took them to an empty classroom and shot them, police said. The area around Muwalha is known as the Triangle of Death because of the number of kidnappings and murders there, and the school killings appeared to be the latest bid by Sunni extremists to spark a sectarian war.

Gee man! You gotta learn a few things about debating. 1. If you want to be respected, show your face/name. 2. If you want to be respected, respect other people. 'Asshole' is not respectfull, where I came from. Most of time I don't agree with Stan (and some other conservatives), but he and the other guys are smart. Being silly doesn't even come close to provocation. Is just the same as being pathetic. 3. Be original. I already published that stuff yesterday. 4. Have a point.

Why invoke my name? I have been opposed to the use of women in sustained combat operations for 20 years for just this very reason. This is clearly an indictment of liberal policies not conservative ones. "Capitalism is the source of all true freedom."

If you say so. I'm more concerned with military readiness than with religious mythology. "Capitalism is the source of all true freedom."

I often feel that the common misbelief in women are directly or indirectly based on religion. Which is a shame IMHO. What many believers don't understand about the bible, is that it can't be taken literally in all places. Sure, they can claim it is God's words, but it was still penned down by men. We all know that (wo)men are not always reliable when passing on information. But when I think about it, I vaguely remember you arguing about this in the soapbox some time ago, with a fair amount of logic. ;) -- Keep talking! You're the fool, I'm the preacher.

In this regard, I think I would argue that it is not unreasonable to assert that women do have a, perhaps instinctive, tendency to sustain themselves to the degree they are able to appeal to the sexual desires of men. I don't think it is entirely fair to be too critical of religion for attempting to define the parameters of how that interaction should occur in an increasingly complex social environment. And, even though men probably created the mores and ceremonies generally associated with religion, I would be willing to bet that, as with so many aspects of male existence, there was a women at his elbow giving him advice. From my experience, women are far more critical of, and honest about, the behavior of other women than men generally are. "Capitalism is the source of all true freedom."

Personally, they seem to be a good people though poisoned by shitty right-wing ideology like the left-wing here are poisoned by shitty left-wing ideology. And programmers in general are arrogant and seem to think their abilities to deal with things binary make them highly evolved thinkers someway. Also, it is a good thing not only Iraquis, but every nation have freedom, liberty and democracy.∩:((=
