ARRRRRGGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!! I like Physics, don't get me wrong, but why oh WHY do i have to spend my time writing crappy investigations? Well, it's obvious you say. Not this time - I mean can you imagine why some idiot at our exam board enforced crazy regulations that means that if I pretend I verified the cosine rule against a book (which I didn't, I know it off by heart) that I will be credited marks for using books as a resource. What pile of crap! And as soon as I hand this in tomorrow (it's 0119 and I've got about another hour to do yet - I really messed my timing up this time) we'll get loaded with yet another one. Sorry for that folks but I'm a little p*ssed off with this at the moment - it's driving me crazy how people who deserve marks fail because they didn't quote a reference book in their text when knowing a subject isn't the same as being able to copy ad nauseam, and it's also annoying me how I've ended up spending every single Computing lesson teaching the class instead of doing my own work because the teacher is an incompetent git who thinks the only way to do data access is using the Data Grid control. I can't remember the last time I actually did some of my own work in that lesson. Sorry again. :-O -- Andrew.

Quite all right. Think nothing of it. Define "git." There'll be a quiz on it tomorrow. Spelling will be 80% of the grade, penmanship 20%, and any inappropriate language will be rated for extra credit.

Andrew Peace wrote: because the teacher is an incompetent git I'm unsure what "git" exactly means I think its scottish. But teachers suck generally, Most of the time they are incompetent at lifes skills and there own vocation, and are a pack of control freaks. Regardz Colin J Davies

Unfortunately quoting references is one of the most important things when writing papers. I remember writing papers that had 5 pages of text and 3 pages of references. cheers, Chris Maunder

I was more stressed out about actually having to write the paper really I guess - but things were beginning to get on my nerves; I'm now completely disillusioned about our college (or at least certain people in it). Today a bunch of people were asking about data controls (data-grid etc) in VB so I answered them. This happens every single lesson guarenteed, so I said to the teacher that a lot of people were struggling with it and it might be worthwhile to do a worksheet on it and he basically told me where to get off 'cause they were gonna fail anyway. It's not my place to teach his class but that attitude stinks - the people concerned wouldn't fail if he could be bothered to teach them how to do the coursework but instead he sits there and moans when people don't meet his deadlines. Anyway, I'm destressed about that whole thing now, the coursework is in, and me is chillin' to some CP and a brand new 60gb hard disk that I'm about to install. My teachers always welcomed a 'guest' lecturer! Even it it was an undergrad. I think that's a healthy attitude, and a good one to emulate. I know in a lot of classes, I learned more from my classmates about some aspects of the subject than the teacher knew...

The reason - everyone there does VB! BTW will be getting a much newer photo soon from something we're doing in college so if you don't wanna use the other pic then I'll send it along. I was 15 on the picture you have: all but a child :). -- Andrew.
