Probably the same army that is slapping Islamic/Syrian militants around in Iraq like so many little girls.

Oh how quickly you turned a blind eye to my point and made it an anti-Islamic, all-muslims-are-bad, i-am-right rant. Farhan Noor Qureshi if (this == this) thow this; -- modified at 18:10 Friday 21st October, 2005

Your point was an anti-American, anti-western rant. What kind of a scum bag does it take to trash talk a country that has given you hope and freedom and so much more? The fact that you voice such opinions tells me everything I need to know about you and your culture, not to mention your mother. But than, I suppose someone who had nothing to be grateful for could be expected to teach gratitude to her son. "Capitalism is the source of all true freedom."

Wow, you took a topic on the murder of a man by the Syrian Goverment and changed the subject to the CIA, Mossad, MI5, KGB, RAW, ISI and all in one sentence. Lets talk about it then. Syrians kill innocent man because he speaks of independence. Mossad kills terrorist because they kill innocent people. yea right...

And the CIA bombed a civilian airliner because that plane was supposed to carry Chou En-lai to the Non-Aligned Nations Conference at Bandung, Indonesia. I just LOVE the justifications Americans bring up for the misdeeds of their government. I wonder, is it patriotism (the last refuge of scoundrels, if I remember correctly) or just plain stupidity?

Wow, still missing the point of Syrian goverment killing an innocent man. Ok. I'll say I have never seen any proof that the CIA, or Mossad killed a innocent person on purpose. There have been deaths by accident, but this is not the same as what Syria did is it.

I suppose the overthrow of the government of Iran in 1955, the government in Guatemala in 1954, the government in Chile in the 1970s were all just accidents. Remember, all these governments were legitimately elected by their people. Unlike a country where the Supreme Court stops the vote count while deliberating and then announces there isn't enough time anymore to re-count the votes.

Hello... is there a brain in there? His rant is directed at this administration, which is full of inept, corrupt, war-mongering buffoons. (And we have people like you to thank for that, BTW.) Here we have yet another person who's tired of this administration's crap and all you can do is insinuate that he's nothing but a slimey foreigner who should keep his trap shut in the name of gratitude. I wonder how you would have reacted if his name had been "John Smith" instead of "Farhan Noor Qureshi".

I'm still in much better shape than your aveage American 18 year old couch potato , but the military didn't think puting at 51 year old man in the field was a good idea. Actually, High School graduation is a PRErequisite to military service in this country. The only "high schoolers" fighting in Iraq are not American... And even high school graduates under the age of 18 require parental consent to enlist... But then, I doubt that you would know that, or bother to find out. Syria is a dictatorship, not a democracy. They dont claim to be open and fair. They persecute whosoever they dislike, thats the very essence of a dictatorship and THAT'S what you are proposing that no body has no right to object and governments have the absolute authority over every thing (hint hint). If they are High Scool graduates, then they are no longer of High School age either. Your premise is incorrect anyway. In 2003 (latest data I could find) only 17% of active duty army personnel were in the 17-20 age group. The remaining 83% were 21 or older.http://www.armyg1.army.mil/hr/demographics/FY03ArmyProfileWebVs.pdf[^] You should check your "fact" more thoroughly/ Absolute faith corrupts as absolutely as absolute power Eric Hoffer All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.
