I've noticed that you guys got the ratings facility up and running. Cool! I'd like to see a section where the highest rated articles are listed.

Glag you like it. We'll be adding more method to allow you to view the comments and ratings, and will make them integrate into the site a little tighter. - Chris ================== The original message was: I've noticed that you guys got the ratings facility up and running. This appears to be the same system that Microsoft uses on some of their page. There are some problems with this I think - you can rate an article over and over and either cripple it or make it look good. Plus what does a "3" or "2" rating mean - that the code sucks, the text is poorly written (speka da english), that you didn't find it useful, or you hate the person? Perhaps a little breakdown of the rates and a ip addr check... or perhaps requiring a rate to give a blurb (or a comment)... ================== The original message was: Glag you like it. The ratings system is still in its infancy and we are waiting to see how it goes for a few more weeks before making any changes. There is always a balance between a perfect system and a system that can handle the load. We need to ensure that by increasing the complexity of some of the scripts (ratings, comments) we don't inadvertantly hog resources and slow down general page access. Still - we're all learning and we'll get there eventually! ================== The original message was:
