When I run Spybot S&D, it listed following two entries related to Windows Media Player: - Windows Media Player: Client ID HKEY_USERS\DEFAULT\Software\Microsoft\MediaPlayer\Player\Settings\Client ID= Windows Media Player: Client ID HKEY_USERS\S-1-2....\Software\Microsoft\MediaPlayer\Player\Settings\Client ID= It does not show any description. After googling a bit, I found that it is an unique id assigned by Windows Media Player to itself. And if deleted, it will get re-assigned everytime windows media player is used. :~ Is it ok to let spybot fix these keys. Are those keys really related to windows media player. If so, why does it gets listed in spybot. //Start of joke Never comment ur code. If it was hard to write, it should be hard to understand !!! //End of joke

If so, why does it gets listed in spybot Because anything that could even remotely connect your name to the pr0nmedia that you watch gets flagged as EVIL by the privacy nutters. Tools->Options-> Privacy->Uncheck "send unique player ID to content providers" and then you can sleep easy. ;) --Mike-- Personal stuff:: Ericahist | Homepage Shareware stuff:: 1ClickPicGrabber | RightClick-Encrypt CP stuff:: CP SearchBar v2.0.2 | C++ Forum FAQ ---- You cannot stop me with paramecium alone!

I always thought anything other than pronmedia was evil. Now i know why you called them nutters. ;P Thanks for the tip, Mike. //Start of joke Never comment ur code.
