general query reg registry keys.

Pls tellme in what contains in this folder. KEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Updates As observed by me....... In this folder I am able to see 3 folders DatatAccess Windows 2000 Windows Media player Under Windows 2000 -I have 2 sub folders SP4 SP5 Under SP4 I have one folder Under SP5 I have many folders which starts with KB. Under this interesting I see FileList folder and click to see there are many folders which starts from 0 - 1 or sometimes up to 10. When I clicked each one of these folders I see .dll as a file name. I want to know the following things. What is a file list What are the subfolders under it. Why are they numbered. Can any expert throw light on this as I am confused with this? Regards KP

The files updated for this are ole32.dll, rpcrt4.dll, and rpcss.dll, which are listed under the FileList key.
