It seems that Netscape likes bringing up Close Window [windowname] where windowname is the name you specified as the 2nd parameter in window.open(). It looks as if it performs this event when doing a self.close() or opener.close(). Does anyone know the actual reason why Netscape brings this alert up to the user? This might provide a hint programically why I see this itermittingly rather than all the time. Thanks! Chris "Why are we hiding from the police, Daddy?" "We use VI, son. They use Emacs."
