Microsoft since Ballmer took over..
-
I've noticed a pretty dramatic change in the face of Microsoft since Ballmer replaced Gates at the helm. Not like their products were all re-written or anything, but I see Ballmer's face plastered all over the media now, and he seems to be, well, louder, more of a big biz personality. Somehow Microsoft as Bill Gates' company had more of that boy-wonder uniqueness, and now from my perspective it doesn't seem unique anymore, just another big fat-cat public company. Gates seemed mischevious in the stuff he did, I think if Baller was the face for the kind of stuff that Microsoft has done in the past, he'd seem like a crook. I am alone in this?

Terry Microsoft IS a big fat-cat public company, so why shouldn't the CEO reflect that? No one is going to dominate the Internet the way that MSFT dominated the desk top, so no matter how well they do, it will look they are going down hill. Gord
