Quick question for the Americans

Don't worry, this is neither difficult nor controversial :-) What sort of bias would you say C-SPAN has, if any? This is to satisfy a mild curiousity, because I'm watching it on BBC Parliament and haven't seen it before (I'm becoming a bit of a junkie for that particular BBC channel. I even watched some of the RNC on it  ) Ta muchly

I think its more neutral than any other channel. "One of the Georges," said Psmith, "I forget which, once said that a certain number of hours' sleep a day--I cannot recall for the moment how many--made a man something, which for the time being has slipped my memory."

Mike Gaskey wrote: maybe a wee bit left of center but not enough in my opinion to matter, call it neutral. Thanks. I figured it was probably fairly close to centre myself, based on what appeared to be an even handed bit of coverage over the upcoming debates, and phone ins from both Bush and Kerry supporters with some good questions they'd like to see asked in them.

C-Span is required by those who fund it to be throughly non-partisan and, as far as I can detect, has always succeeded in honoring that mandate. "Benedict Arnold was a war hero too."
