Can't Sign In

Don't you hate it when you can't sign in? X| I don't know what the deal is - I created a new account just to test it out and it works fine now. Chris, any ideas? Jon Sagara

I cant sign in too. I created a new login and successfully got it. Signed out/signed in - all well. But only with the new login. :-) Maybe Chris should switch to PHP. Nish
Do you have any idea how long that would take? X| I wouldn't wish that upon my worst enemy. Jon Sagara Temporary alias.

Nish, I think you need help. You are suffering from a serious Code Project addiction if you needed to create a new account just to login. :-) A better approach would have to have emailed Chris and then waited for it to be fixed. A couple of hours of not posting is good for the soul. Michael :-)

I hope this addiction will wear off after a while when I can be a more moderate serious kinda poster like Paul Watson. Till then I'll be a crazy, "Iwannapostnow" kinda lounger Nish

I'd save your posting until you get your Nish ID back. Otherwise you'll never make it into the top 10 posters ;-) Michael :-)

What kind of enviroment are you working in? I'm currently the only C++ developer working here (the rest are VB and Java) , so its nice to be able to talk about C++ matters with other developers at CodeProject. What's your reasons for hanging around Code Project so much ? Michael :-)

OK - I give in. I have to admit that the whole thing was merely a scam to get more sign-ups. ;P Actually I blame ASP. What sort of crazy language requires a 'Then' after an if, doesn't use curly brackets and prefaces all it's variables with Dim. The missing link that bound those who could sign in, and those who were left screaming and yelling and creating precious new accounts? The little 'use cookies to remember my logon' cheers, Chris Maunder (CodeProject)

Whatever it was, it works now, so thanks a bunch. :) Jon Sagara "After all is said and done, usually more is said than done." -- Unknown

Working as C++ developer for an internet-applications company. I use VC++ 6.0. Occasionaly I've had to code on Linux too. Trying to learn and understand the .NET framework. Initially I was happy with C#. I didnt know there were other possibilities, till Chris Maunder posted his article on Managed C++ and delegates. Ever since that, I've been trying to use MC++. I also do a bit of software development on my own. You can chk out some of my work at www.busterboy.org I cannot explain exactly why I like CP. It feels great to be in a community where everyone is a programmer and where the majority are win32 based C++ programmers. I also enjoy writing - which explains why I make attempts at writing articles and often get flamed to death. Regards Nish p.s. I am a highly sensitive person and easily get provoked and upset. That's why you won't always find me in this mature calm mood. Sometimes I go mad and then I behave like a 12 year old. But normally I am a serious happy person. Sonork ID 100.9786 voidmain

> I am a highly sensitive person and easily get provoked and upset. So, if we were to tell you that you're an asshole or a faggot, would your head explode? The reason I'm asking is because I'm conducting a scientific study, the rest of which you probably don't want to hear about. Shouldn't you be doing the dishes or something?
