Urgent help needed in bookkeeping

hi ppl, i'm lookin for some web application for library system or book keeping. my boss wants me to develop such a system for the office. does anyone of you have such a system or can help me in building such a system. the reason my boss wants it to be a web application because it'll not be necessary to install the application on each PC. just a simple link at the internet browser and the application opens up. But i don't know a single thing about book keeping book management or library system. if someone of you has such a system or have developed such a system please be kind enough to help me. With all due respect, but how can one be assigned to building a bookkeeping system withouth knowing (or be given time to figure out) to actually know how bookkeeping works. Such a system should be carefully planned out because there are many legislative aspects of bookkeeping, which should be implemented for it to be effective. (Otherwise a simple spreadsheet with a debit and credit would suffice) I furthermore think your question is way to broad (there is no question other then actually requesting a full system?) to be answered on a message board, and would advice you to look up various ressources on the web on how bookkeeping works, and then try to analyze and design a system, and then form the question based on the knowlegde you attain. --------------------------- 127.0.0.1 - Sweet 127.0.0.1
