I've got a page that runs very quickly on my relatively slow dev machine. However, when I upload it to my host, it's dang slow. It's a difference of like less than a second to render the page on my machine to like 10 seconds to render the page on the hosted machine. What gives?

That depends on the page contents,images,VIEWSTATE values.
