Copying contents file...
-
Has anyone else on the planet ever had his VC++ (6.0 Enterprise) get "Copying contents file..." as the first message of a Build and have the compiler then hang, never to come back? You can try to exit anyway you can but you always get the response from the compiler that you can't exit during a build but after you stop build, it doesn't? And around it goes, :(. My system does that and I am trying to find out why. X| jimsmithfromhighcountrysoftware

I think this is to do with the help compiler that gets called. Did you select the help options when creating your project? If you did then I think some of the settings are screwed. The way I tend to get around this is create a new project of the same type and copy the new help files into my old project. Of course this only works if you haven't written the help yet. Michael :-)

That's a known bug with NAV running on Win 9x. You'll need to disable Auto-Protect (right-click the NAV tray icon) while you're doing your build. --Mike-- http://home.inreach.com/mdunn/ #include "witty_sig.h" your :bob: with :vegemite: and
