Hi, Whats the basic difference between iterative programming model and extreme programming model? both seems to work similarly i.e. re-releasing application on quick customer feedback. Thanks Ashu sharma

One is trendier than the other. Spiral development is just one component of XP. Another is having two people working per computer, which is definately not required for an approach that involves frequent releases. Christian Graus - Microsoft MVP - C++

Damn you're a smart feller, Christian!:-D I was going to answer that Extreme Programming is RAD method which utilizes a team approach to develop multiple related modules in parallel using a shotgun attack profile, while the Iterative model is one of orderly, progressive refinement.
