    where to download awk, sed and similar (unix) tools working under all w32? (i downloaded cygwin ones but they end with "The program cannot be run in DOS mode" so it seems they need any special/own shell (?)) thanks for reply t!

      the MKS shell is nice, but it's not free. -c

          Get GNU utilities for Win32, they work without the Cygwin libraries.
