Problem with AJAX and Mozilla Firefox browser

Hello I have a serious problem with mozilla firefox browser and it's all about AJAX, Actually i have a web service which i consume using the AJAX and the web service is on the same server of the web site with the same domain, and the consuming was working fine when the service was running locally but when i uploaded it on the web server and started to consume it using AJAX, I had the following error in firefox: "permission denied to call method xmlhttprequest.open" Can anyone helps me please, i need help urgently.
