I am not able to Sign out

When I logged in I clicked on the "Remember me"(Something like that) check box. And now I am not able to sign out. It signs me back in again. I have to clear the cookies sometimes to sign out.

It's a shared machine. So I don't want to leave signed in. Better sign out. This problem occurs sometimes and not always. I wonder what's it?
