    50% Saudi traffic accidents attributed to women despite the fact that they are not allowed to drive !!![^] Finally one law that we can agree with the mullahs :rolleyes:

      Well Duh. :doh: :doh: :doh: 50% of the people who live there are women. So it doesn't surprise me that half the accidents are attributable to women. Chris Meech I am Canadian. [heard in a local bar] When I want privacy, I'll close the bathroom door. [Stan Shannon] BAD DAY FOR: Friendly competition, as Ford Motor Co. declared the employee parking lot at its truck plant in Dearborn, Mich., off limits to vehicles built by rival companies.         Yeah but in all probability, only 5% of them drive and perhaps only 10% of them can get out of their homes :-) Regards, Nish

          I think the point is that it's illegal for women to drive in SA.

            reasons behind road accidents involving women are usually caused by their lack of knowledge of road traffic rule and regulations. Some actions include opening the car door without paying attention to on-coming traffic is common. Marital quarrels are another main although overlooked reason

              So, in other words - It would be better for women to be permitted to drive because they will be taught the rules of the road and those accidents will reduce.                   Well, have you tried driving with a 'habbib' (or whatever it is called) over your face? Not surprised they keep crashing, must screw up the peripheral vision no end. Nunc est bibendum
