    5 for your post off topic: Since I don't see French who love hockey everyday, does Cristobal Huet get some media coverage in France?

    Well, he's started to make a name for himself as a starter for the Montreal Canadiens. And with the announcement that Jose Theodore will be out for 6 weeks with a cracked bone in his foot, the playoff hopes for Montreal rest squarely on Crostobal's shoulders. I'd love to see him win 17 of the last 25 games the Canadiens have left. :) Chris Meech I am Canadian. [heard in a local bar] When I want privacy, I'll close the bathroom door.       Well, I know him :) ( I personally find him awesome :-O ). He's been very popular a few years ago (when the french team had had surprisingly good results), but I cannot really say that he ever had much media coverage... ~RaGE();

        oh I know :-D I grew up in the Montreal area and pretty much have red white and blue blood cells :-D I'm now a Habs fan living in Sens territory... it's a tough year. Been a Theo fan since he played junior here, but even I have recently given up on him and I'm more and more impressed with Huet's game every start he gets. Go Habs Go

            hosting a olympics or any other events like worldcups, etc. brings in lot of tourists money, generates employments, tax money and host of other things. so lot of ppl gives shit to olympics.

            I understand that Montreal is still paying for theirs, 30 years later. I live in the UK and I'm not looking forward to having the Games hosted here in 2012.

              Very coincidental. I was born and grew up in Montreal. I even got to play hockey in the old Montreal forum. :cool: Although there weren't 18,000 screaming fans at the time. :) I can't wait for this movie[^] to be released. Chris Meech I am Canadian. Interesting how some countries can scrape up the money to develop nuclear weapons but go begging at the first natural disaster that comes their way.... At any given instant there are considerably more assholes than mouths in the universe.

                    Yep, from the sports listed above, it sounds like the Winter Olympics. The Summer ones were last year in Greece. Where have you been Nish? :-D
