lcc-win32 is a full development system for windows, and can be freely downloaded from: http://www.cs.virginia.edu/~lcc-win32 Features: The fastest ANSI C compiler under windows. Optimized code is 80% of the speed of optimized MSVC in benchmarks. In real life applications no difference is measurable. Language features: Operator overloading Many C99 features (flexible arrays, dynamic arrays) etc. Fully automatic garbage collector included System: Compiler, linker, resource compiler, resource editor, make, IDE and windowed debugger. IDE features goto definition, name completion, syntax oriented editing. Debugger follows in single step all assembly instructions, Up to 4 data breakpoints (i.e. breakpoints that fire when an address is touched) are possible. Etc. Price: Zero dollars and zero cents. There is a "Free tools" section in here isn't it? I would propose that my system is added to that part of this forum. Yes, I started the wrong thread here, I posted the wrong message. I posted the same one as in the "General discussion" by mistake. Here should have been a message proposing that, instead of the one that gotv posted. Thanks for your input.
