I'd say he is an online version of Rush Limbaugh, but I'm highly biased. So, make your own judgement:http://www.codeproject.com/script/profile/whos_who.asp[^] Patriotism is the willingness to kill and be killed for trivial reasons. Bertrand Russell (1872 - 1970) Patriotism is your conviction that this country is superior to all other countries because you were born in it. George Bernard Shaw (1856 - 1950) Patriotism is often an arbitrary veneration of real estate above principles. George Jean Nathan (1882 - 1958) Patriotism is the last refuge of a scoundrel. Samuel Johnson (1709 - 1784)

Oh I did not find the name "Stan Shannon" in "Who's who" database one hour ago, and that's why I asked. I searched again just now... Yes I got it. I rarely have visited The Soapbox forum though. Not really know about him.

It might be a better idea to get to know people first. You wouldn't go into a room of strange people and yell out "will you all be my friends," so please don't do that here.

Oh fer christ's sake... Don't you have neighbors or something? ------- sig starts "Why don't you tie a kerosene-soaked rag around your ankles so the ants won't climb up and eat your candy ass..." - Dale Earnhardt "...the staggering layers of obscenity in your statement make it a work of art on so many levels." - Jason Jystad, 10/26/2001

I'm pretty new to the Code Project myself. It is a great site, with all kinds of free information and really bright people to help out with what you're working on. Nonetheless, I've discovered that people aren't always the most friendly or polite... They do, however, have one hell of a sense of humor. So I come here for a good laugh, and rarely leave without it. That being said: this probably isn't the best place to look for friends.

You haven't been to the parties I have or you wouldn't say that. ;) Pictures of the menu available at the drive-thru

Friends should have something in common. It appears you'll be friends with anyone that slows down in front of you. That's not really friendship, that's two people hanging out with nothing better to do. Jeremy Falcon

How about introducing the theory of NP-Completeness to your neighbor?
