Crystal Reports: export to word works but pdf doesn't

I am trying to export some crystal reports to pdf. Export to pdf is not working but exporting to word is working fine. What could be the problem when everything was fine few hours back. I can manage with export to word but some portions are cut off(not displayed). This can be fixed manually by expanding the textbox in word file. I have set the Can grow property checked but for some reason cr decides to size the textbox to some specific size and so I loose some text. Any links or suggestions
