I have written a few articles now on the code project. I have noticed that some of them never make it out of unedited reader contribution status. Does anyone know if this means that the codeproject editors are just busy and will get to it someday? Or does it mean they don't think it is ready/ good enough / whatever to take out of that state? Thanks, Ben

      Most likely.

Doubtful, unless it's just blatantly obvious that the article should not be published. I've seen some pretty bad ones get published, so the threshold is fairly low.

It means the editors just haven't gotten to the articles yet. If an editor reviews an article and thinks it isn't good enough (or the article's comments say it isn't good enough), it will be moved to the Purgatory section.

mike, don't you think the queue is loosing some articles sometimes ? i've seen some articles beeing in the unedited section for more than 1 year now, whenever its rate is over 4/5 (and it even has been rewarded by a "monthly competition winner")...
