Lol! I'm going to start selling real-estate in cold climate countries promising that, in 10 years, it will be hugely productive and greatly desired as vinyard land! Man, what a scam scheme!

No, it has more to do with gangs and illegal mexican immigrants, which buy their guns off the black market anyway. MOΛΩN ΛABE

More irony: The game, slated for release by October 2006 in advance of the Christmas shopping rush On the other hand, it's no different than any other violent games kids are playing nowadays. They're mature enough to separate fiction from reality, right? It helps keep them off the street and build their reflexes, right? Video games have been shown to be good for brain development, right? Besides, it'll sell like hotcakes. As usual, if there wasn't a market for it, other people wouldn't invest in making the product. We need a video game that pits peaceloving, free love, pot smoking hippy against the warmonger consumer. Hippy weapons include: Massage, meditation, and shrooms, with safe houses at the Esalen Institute[^]. ;P Marc Pensieve Some people believe what the bible says. Literally. Wow Christianity must be a violent religion. Some criminals blew up a bomb 8 years ago claiming to be Christians. I hope the people from the church down the road dont come shoot me for thinking differently than they do. For you to put Christianity on the same level as Islam because of an isolated incident, when with Islam it is a widespread, continuing problem is rediculous. I did a google news search for "Iraq roadside bomb", and look what it brings up. Results 1 - 10 of about 15,300 for Iraq RoadSide Bomb.[^] MOΛΩN ΛABE

I'm actually thinking I might buy some beachfront property in Florida in about 9 years. The National Weather Service is predicting about 10 years of violent hurricanes (no...there's no relation to global warming). By then everything will be so battered that property values might be low. They'll skyrocket after a couple years of no hurricane weather!

You keep taking about the IRA bombing and trying to use that one example to make it look like there is an ongoing problem with violence in christianity. Even if there was (which there is not) it would not change the fact that Islam is a violent religion.

The tought that they wouldn't be Christians by some obscure theological reason is simply impossible in here. From your answer I googled and found this:http://www.born-again-christian.info/catholics.htm[^]: Roman Catholicism is not Christian, it is a satanically inspired counterfeit of Christianity that has deceived billions into worshipping a false Christ. If you really love Catholics, you will gently show them the Truth so that they can decide who they will believe: the Vatican's Catechism, or the Holy Bible. Here are ten glaring false teachings that the Catholic catechism declares. Each one directly contradicts the Word of God This is freaking unbelievable and very, very funny. In college I was approached by one of those born again freaks (they all seem to be former drug addicts). He asked me what I thought of evolution. I told him that I think it's a very viable theory that explains the creation of man and beast. He asked me how I can think that when the bible says different. Being Catholic, I responded that the Pope had even recognized evolution as a viable means to creation because what separates man from beast is the soul and the important point is when man acquired a soul. His response: "Stupid Pope and his stupid hat."

You should watch United 93. See how religion is an integral part of their action. Then see how many IRA terrorists were praying that God bless their deed as they detonated a bomb. Then see if the Catholic Church praised IRA terrorists after their deeds.

But how is that possible when they make up only 12% (your figure) of your population. Don't those figures strike you as odd? So, 12% of your population is responsible for all the chaos in America? It has absolutely nothing to do with the ability to simply go buy a gun. That's the answer then? So, illegal Mexican immigrants who work to support themselves illegally by earning less than minimum wage and send most of the money back to their families in their home countries have pockets bursting with spare cash to buy illegal arms on the black market then? How can you explain the difference between gun crime in Canada (with gun control) and gun crime in the U.S. (no gun control)? We have lots of illegal immigrants too. Surely if it was them then both countries would have soaring rates of gun crime, no? What about that situation? How can you explain that?

I went to Asheville, NC (a hippy haven) a few weeks ago. A hippy walked into this jewelry store we were in and paid off his Rolex. He said his mom had bought it for him, but was making payments in her name so that it was still hers. So don't forget that they're spoiled rich kids, too!

You keep taking about the IRA bombing and trying to use that one example to make it look like there is an ongoing problem with violence in christianity. Even if there was (which there is not) it would not change the fact that Islam is a violent religion.

Ah, but Sept. 11th was an isolated incident, remember? And by your own words, you wrote: For you to put Christianity on the same level as Islam because of an isolated incident, when with Islam it is a widespread, continuing problem is rediculous. That's your quote! You keep taking about the IRA Sept. 11th bombing and trying to use that one example to make it look like there is an ongoing problem with violence in christianity Islam.

Actually if you look at the statistics based on region, the highest correlations are between crime and average state temperature (and also proximity to urban areas). The warmer you get, the more crime. I'm guessing it's because people actually go outside. Canada is cold.

Really, what about the bombings in Spain, the UK and the Philippines?

Left Behind: Eternal Forces[^] Imagine: you are a foot soldier in a paramilitary group whose purpose is to remake America as a Christian theocracy, and establish its worldly vision of the dominion of Christ over all aspects of life. You are issued high-tech military weaponry, and instructed to engage the infidel on the streets of New York City. You are on a mission - both a religious mission and a military mission -- to convert or kill Catholics, Jews, Muslims, Buddhists, gays, and anyone who advocates the separation of church and state - especially moderate, mainstream Christians. Your mission is "to conduct physical and spiritual warfare"; all who resist must be taken out with extreme prejudice. You have never felt so powerful, so driven by a purpose: you are 13 years old. You are playing a real-time strategy video game whose creators are linked to the empire of mega-church pastor Rick Warren, best selling author of The Purpose Driven Life. Sickening! X| How can people who claim to be followers of Jesus, and who claim to know their Bibles, promote this kind of cr*p in the name of Christ, the Prince of Peace??  I know the answer but I am still incredulous, even though I have known for some time that there are 'Christians' who think like that.

The more devout you are, the crazier you get. That reminds me, I need to stock up on ammo rent part two of Left Behind. I saw the first one with Kirk Cameron and his hot wife Chelsea Noble. Although it had no effect on me, I am still curious to know what they did in part two. :)
